Native architecture, engineered for the conditions we actually live in.

The project explores a family of rounded, elevated native structures that can respond to heat, heavy rain, wind and flooding without losing the warmth and familiarity of Filipino vernacular building.

Curved form

Rounded geometry reduces hard wind-facing corners and gives the architecture its unmistakable identity.

Elevation

Raised floors create ventilation, flood clearance and useful shaded space below the living platform.

Anahaw skin

Anahaw is treated as a serious building material and craft system, not decorative tropical styling.
